Happy Girls are the Prettiest Fancy Frame

Hello, crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing such a fun project I created with the Authentique "Classique Pretty" collection.

I found this beautiful ornate frame at a local store.  It's actually plastic and was painted a dark yellow so I spray painted it this lovely teal.

I used one of my favorite Julie Nutting doll stamps to piece together this little beauty.  I highlighted her skin and hair with Copic markers. I added Pretty Pink Posh pink peonies sequins to her dress and shoes.

The tags and Life cards in this collection are so fabulous.  I love the great sayings that just make you smile.  I added these fun tags attached with twine and lovely onyx Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

I framed one of my favorite Life Cards, "Happy Girls are the Prettiest" with striped patterned paper and collection stickers.  I added marshmellow Pretty Pink Posh sequins to the framed art.  Finally, I created this pretty paper bow to finish my project.  This was such a fun project to create!

Bunny Hop

Happy Easter, friends!

I'm so excited to spend this Easter Sunday with family and friends, hunting eggs, and digging through Easter baskets for goodies. I love the Springtime.

I created this sweet bunny card with the "Promise" collection by Authentique.  I love the bright colors and patterns.  I cut that incredible doily with "Cherish Doiles & Tags Die Set" by Top Dog Dies.  I also added pieces of twine, burlap, and cardboard for that homespun feel.  I'm making a few of these to tuck into Easter goodies for those I love.

I hope you have a blessed Easter.

Creating a Mini Calendar with Authentique and Top Dog Dies

Hi friends!  I'm here with my latest Authentique project featuring Top Dog Dies.  I have to tell you...I'm in love with these dies!  I designed my mini calendar with Top Dog Dies Cherish Doilies & Tags Die Set and Circle Mini Album Die.  These dies are so easy to use and worked perfectly with my Sizzix Big Shot.  I'll be designing lots of projects with these dies.

I chose the Authentique collection "Anchored" for this calendar.  I love the red, white, and blue, the stars and stripes, and sailing images.  What a great, versatile collection!

I have a simple method for creating mini albums and projects like this calendar.  Choose a few repeating items and continue those on each page. Each page includes the chipboard stars, patterned stripes, the mini calendar pages, great Top Dog doilies/tags, and red pearls.  These repeating items unify your project and make creating albums fun and easy.

Authentique and Sweet Stamp Shop Hop

Hello, friends!  I'm so excited to have joined the fabulous Design Team at Authentique paper!!  My first post will appear on the blog this week.  Authentique Paper and Sweet Stamp Shop are teaming up to bring you tons of inspiration using Authentique Paper and Sweet Stamp Shop products!

I altered this wooden paddle with the stamp set "What's For Dinner" and the Authentique collection "Anchored".  It's just perfect for a kitchen project. I love the crisp detail of these stamps. The tiny phrases, animals, and banners are adorable.
I started with a wooden paddle purchased at a local craft store.  I inked the edges and started layering.  The "Anchored" collection is just beautiful.  The red/blue patterned papers are so versatile.  They can be used for any home décor project.  It's fun to think outside of the box with a paper collection and see how many different projects you can create.

Hop over to the Authentique blog to see project details and tons more design team inspiration plus your chance to win some great prizes!

Holiday Cheer

I am so happy to be Guest Designing for Authentique this month.  I was given the beautiful "Joyous" collection and had a wonderful time creating.
I created this 8"x10" canvas for the holidays.  I just loved this sweet pic I found online and knew it would be lovely for a holiday project.
The patterned papers, diecuts, and stickers in the "Joyous" collection are just gorgeous.
I added lots of beautiful Want2Scrap chipboard and bling.
I love everything with Santa, so the vintage images in this collection made me so happy. This card was so fun to create with banner stickers in the "Joyous" collection.
I created this large gift tag with lots of layering, bling, and beautiful patterned papers.
Thank you, Authentique, for the honor of Guest Designing with this lovely collection.
